23.07.2026

It was decided to open an investigation into the rail incident that occurred on July 23, 2026, at 1:17 a.m., within the area of operation of the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, Bucharest North–Titu traffic section (double-track electrified line) in Hm. Săbăreni, when freight train No. 62788 (operated by Grup Feroviar Român SA) was dispatched toward Chitila instead of Buciumeni.

It was decided to open an investigation into the train accident that occurred on July 16, 2026, at 5:42 p.m., within the operational area of the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, Golești–Bucharest North traffic section (double-track, non-electrified line), at the Titu CFR station, during the operation of passenger train No. 9256 (operated by the rail transport operator SNTFC “CFR Călători” SA), caused by a fire that broke out in the AMD 2113-2613 railcar being towed by the train.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway incident that occurred on July 16, 2026, at 5:40 a.m., within the area of operation of the Timișoara Regional Railway Branch, Simeria Traffic Section - Arad (double-track electrified line) at the Câmpuri Surduc passing loop, when freight train No. 57421, hauled by locomotive DA 331 (belonging to the rail freight operator PSP Cargo Group SA).
