ROMANIAN RAILWAY INVESTIGATING AGENCY

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway accident that occurred on 20.11.2024, at 08:05, within the area of activity of the Regional Branch CF Brasov, Brașov - Sighișoara traffic section (electrified double line), at km. 228+908, between the Augustin and Racoș stops, on the first line of the line, by derailment of a bogie, the first in the direction of travel of the 250 tf EDK crane, part of the freight train no. 67733 (belonging to rail transport operator SC RAIL FORCE SRL), towed by locomotive BB 523.

It was decided to open an investigation for the railway incident occurred on 17.11.2024, at 13:58, on the area of activity of the Regional Branch CF Iași, Lețcani - Dorohoi traffic section (non-interoperable section, managed by RC-CF Trans SRL Brasov - single line, non-electrified), in the CFR Lețcani station, by dispatching without the order of the traffic operator, freight train no.66578 (belonging to the rail operator Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania SRL).
