18.01.2026

The opening of an investigation was decided regarding the railway incident that occurred on 18.01.2026, at 07:40, within the area of activity of the Timișoara Regional Railway Branch, the Timișoara Nord – Lugoj traffic section (single-track, non-electrified line), at CFR Buziaș station, caused by the erroneous execution of the departure route of passenger train Interregio no. 1831 (belonging to the transport operator SNTFC CFR „Călători” SA), which led to the trailing of switch no. 3.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway incident that occurred on January 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., within the area of activity of the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, at the Bucharest North railway station, due to damage to the fuse boxes for the heaters of switches 6/8 and 48, caused by an open door on railcar AM 5727 of passenger train no. 10051 belonging to the railway transport operator Transferoviar Călători SRL.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway incident that occurred on January 1, 2026, at 3:54 a.m., within the area of operation of SC TMB "METROREX" SA, involving the TEM No. 60 electric subway train on route 20, on the M4 line, at the Laminorului subway station, at the exit from line No. 1 of the station to track II, over switch No. 8, due to the derailment of the first bogie of car A of the REM 003 electric subway train.
