It was decided to open an investigation into the rail incident that occurred on August 8, 2026, at 6:40 a.m., within the area of operation of the Timisoara Regional Railway Branch, at the Curtici CFR station, involving the runaway of locomotive ES 700 (belonging to the rail transport operator Cargo Trans Vagon SA), which was parked on Track 1 and collided with switch No. 21 at the X end of the station, affecting tracks 1 (platform), 2 (platform), 1A, and 2A.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway incident that occurred on July 23, 2026, at 7:33 p.m., within the operational area of the Iași Regional Railway Branch, at the Pojorâta passing station, in which passenger train No. 1763, hauled by locomotive EA 699 (belonging to the rail transport operator SNTFC “CFR Călători” SA), struck a piece of equipment

It was decided to open an investigation into the rail incident that occurred on July 23, 2026, at 1:17 a.m., within the area of operation of the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, Bucharest North–Titu traffic section (double-track electrified line) in Hm. Săbăreni, when freight train No. 62788 (operated by Grup Feroviar Român SA) was dispatched toward Chitila instead of Buciumeni.
