S-a decis deschiderea unei investigații pentru accidentul feroviar produs la data de 22.09.2024, ora 18:05, pe raza de activitate a Sucursalei Regionale CFR Craiova, secția de circulație Turceni - Filiași (linie dublă electrificată), în stația CFR Turceni, prin deraierea locomotivei LEMA 083 aflată în remorcarea trenului de marfă nr.58490 (aparținând operatorului de transport feroviar SC Constantin Grup Rail Logistic SRL), de primul boghiu în sensul de mers și prima osie de la al doilea boghiu la trecerea peste schimbătorul de cale nr.15.
