S-a decis deschiderea unei investigatii pentru accidentul feroviar produs la data de 26.09.2024, ora 16:55, pe raza de activitate a Sucursalei Regionale CF Craiova, secția de circulație Craiova – Filiași (linie dublă, electrificată), în stația CFR Craiova, prin deraierea  locomotivei izolate LEMA 006, care circula ca tren nr.86699 (aparținând  operatorului de transport feroviar SC Deutsche Bahn Cargo România SRL), de prima osie de la primul boghiu în sensul de mers, la trecerea peste schimbătorul de cale nr.10.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway accident that occurred on 26.09.2024, at 16:55, within the area of activity of the Regional Branch CF Craiova, Craiova - Filiași section (double line, electrified), in the CFR Craiova station, by derailment of the isolated locomotive LEMA 006, running as train no. 86699 (belonging to the rail transport operator SC Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania SRL), from the first axle of the first bogie in the direction of travel, when passing over the track switch nr.10.
