S-a decis deschiderea unei investigații pentru accidentul feroviar produs la data 30.05.2025, ora 19:58, pe raza de activitate a Sucursalei Regionale CF București, secția de circulație Ploiești Est – Buzău (linie dublă, electrificată), în hm. Valea Calugarescă, în linia 3, în circulația trenului de marfă nr.66340 (aparținând SC GRUP FEROVIAR ROMÂN SA), prin declanșarea unui incendiu la locomotiva DA 1572, aflată în remorcarea trenului.

It was decided to open an investigation into the railway accident that occurred on May 30, 2025, at 7:58 p.m., within the area of activity of the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, Ploiești Est – Buzău traffic section (double track, electrified), in hm. The investigation will be conducted by the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch, Ploiești East – Buzău Traffic Section (double, electrified line), in km 3, on line 3, during the movement of freight train no. 66340 (belonging to SC GRUP FEROVIAR ROMÂN SA), due to a fire that broke out in locomotive DA 1572, which was pulling the train.
